Shell-shocked Three-year-old’s hilarious reaction as she witnesses pair of lusty tortoises at Florida zoo
An innocent family trip to the zoo was rudely interrupted by a pair of lusty – and extraordinarily noisy – tortoises.
A mother and her three-year-old daughter named Tatum had been enjoying their day out at Arnolds Exotics zoo in Okeechobee Florida last week when they heard a peculiar groaning noise.
Heading over to the source of the disturbance they were shocked to discover a pair of tortoises locked in the throes of passion.
The male turtle, who was performing an incredible balancing act to keep himself in position on top of his mate, sounded almost human as he groaned repeatedly at an ear-splitting volume.
Despite her shock, the young visitor leans up against the fence for a better look, repeating the phrase to herself over and over again.
Her mother explained: ‘We were looking at the animals in the cages nearby and I start to hear that noise. So we walked over to the cage and hilarity ensued.’
